I got my nand flash chips from Digikey. Part number above.
You'll also see a mark on the plastic cover directly underneath the yaw arm, which is another dead giveaway.
Maybe the yaw arm has been replaced perhaps and even the flat poly cable.
Trademe Phantom purchases are risky. You never know how many hands the craft has been through.
The info they give you is usually based on a guess, rather then an educated analysis.

I can not need a mark on the plastic cover. Maybe it has been replaced.

I'd rather not order from Digi as their shipping times are not fantastic..

Mine was a Micron Tech device. The one above is Macronix. The 2 devices commonly used are listed in this thread somewhere. Just make sure you've got the correct device. The above looks correct, but just double check yourself. Element 14 looks like a good price, apart from shipping cost.

You're all set then. You'll have hot air re-work gear etc.
Just make sure you use Kapton tape. If you blow away a bunch of surrounding SMD chip caps etc, it's game over !

Little update on the unit..
I pulled the NAND chip off the board and sure enough I could just break the chip across the little half moon shape.
There were also a whole bunch of pads that came up with it.
I actually referenced them with the datasheet for the memory and it looks like all of them are No Connect.

Wha ? Do you mean the AC's PCB pads ? Did you force the device off the main PCB before the solder was fully melted ?

This is not my first time with BGA...
I assume it was the hit that dislodged the NC pads from the board and then they came up with the chip.
The only thing that I can think is that it may have been a little too hot but I doubt it since I have not damaged one before

I've had private messages from a couple of people asking for help with the 8 FPS problem after nand flash chip replacement.
The way I see it, any queries are best posted here in the forum rather than privately, so everyone can benefit or otherwise from any discussion.
So, regarding the 8FPS solution, this is covered very well by quaddamage in post #5 of this thread.

Has very similar cooling requirements to our gimbal, in that they both require 6 foot fan at 1/2 " distance.
Hi folks, I have a problem with a board. I can connect it in a boot mode, upload uboot and ubl1 files everything goes fine, except when I try to lauch it in a normal mode, console does not show anything further than "Actua Checksum: xxxxx". LED on the board blinks in it's cycle, however uart output remains silent.
The nand chip does not look damaged however noone knows...
Do you think that nand replacement is required in following situation?

Actua Checksum:0x73756FB2I've seen people having this issue. This usually means something goes wrong during flashing. Try to use a different pc, preferably with older windows, different cables - everything you can, use different.
Yes, indeed I run into some troubles, sfh was returning like huge amount of text to the CMD, this resulted in BSOD several times, I changed uart converted and windows drivers and I got rid of BSOD, however problem remained. I will try diffrent PC, OS, etc.

Hi everyone, sorry for the bad English. I have a spare camera with a Board for the phantom 3 pro. But it does not transmit video after a fall from a height. I want to fix it. On the first inspection, I saw that the NAND chip was damaged. I ordered new chips from China, rewired them, and updated the bootloader. Chip started typing. but I didn't load the core.
