Yes the DBS small panel is 2x9dbi and the CCP are 14dbi each.. had them set at same angle and had to adjust flight height to mantain signal on the 2.4 side with the CCP
As the dpi goes up, the signal gets flatter but goes out farther. Often, 9 dbi is the best compromise for wifi. Still flat panels are the worst when it comes to obstructions.

Ok i was able to get the plate drilled and connectors ready...for those of you doing this buy the bulkhead solder cup sma's...also your going to need a 1/4" drill bit..i suggest drilling half way, flip it over then finish drilling..this way you dont have to file the burrs...i took pic of one drilled thru all the way..then on the other panel drilled half way, flipped and finished...youll see what i mean. I will have more pics tmrw of the bracket to hold them together with measurements if you guys want them but for right now heres the plates drilled and sma fitted.

So if i'm reading this correctly you guys are both located near STL? If so, that's awesome as I'm also in that area! Would you guys be interested in meeting up to fly if that's the case? I would love to see the Governator in person and can't believe there has possibly been one in my area all this time. This would also save DB from having to send one my way :sunglasses:

We both are in the STL area...... Well, it seems the 3 of us are

Hey pro, what's the point of going through that trouble to put those connectors on when it already has the cables coming out the bottom?

So i can mess with stuff inside and use better quality parts lol...to get the CCP's open all the way you either have to cut the cable or hit the top solder joint and pull apart real fast..plus that cable was actually crimped/smashed bad...it also allows you to make adustments easier and overall looks better i think..plus you can use whatever length and quality cable you want...and that cable was frkn long...this has so far taken me some time to do and i dont even know how good its actually going to perform since i dont have the proper facility and a $20k machine to check em with!! My area sucks for range so im guna need someone to try em..you wanna try these when there done DB? i know you have some great spots to fly and and dont chicken out and turn around when your 50k' out

Both done!! On to the bracket next

For the bracket you guys can do whatever..but i would use aluminium angle 1" or aluminium square tube 1" x 1"... whatever you choose it needs to be 13.5" in length...

On each end measure in 3"- 5/16" and drill a 9/32nd hole..its a little bigger than the 1/4" bolt so you have some room for error

Good work there.
I flew over the crash site this morning, I got a lot of pics. Some strange stuff in some of toughs pics. Found two possible spots. And one thing that looks like a skeleton or something?? WTF is this?? You have to upload it and zoom.

Yes cheaper but time isnt cheap lol..plus theres no guarantee these will perform as the other panels

Pro very neat work i think getting rid of the cable is definately gonna massively improve it, looking forward to the tests results

Yeah Procharged, when you're done put them through the ringer, and have done all you can do with them, I'll send you my Terminator and you can send me those panels

If you put boosters on those you can get some range. I went 12,000ft with mine. And I didn't over hall them.
The T P Link are better .

Max there sure looks like a white cross in the tree/bush in the center of you circle. I loss quality when I zoom in. different some thing there.

I see the cross, and it's definitely worth investigating, but by the size of the tree and the size of the cross it doesn't look like a phantom, the white cross looks larger
