Thank you! Maybe you knows the problem: I'm having a huge problem with my phantom 3 pro. I did a upgrade for the latest version and I have problems with altitude limits. So I decided to donwgrade for previous FW using debug file. Big mistake. My phantom doesn't work anymore. Tried to reinstall the firmware but always fails. 10 time I tried. The log file above. Problem in the module 19. Someone can help me on this?

BigAl07. I am vacationing in the the Kill Devil Hills NC - Outer Banks. Coming to this area from Massachusetts I want to be safe and follow all flying rules from the local authorities. If you may know, what is your suggestion for some flying time over some nearby areas. Is there anyone that can suggest where to fly for some recreational footage. I'm sure this area has some great views.

You can't delete posts that are insulting or critical of Trump. That is a violation of the First Amendment --- and you can be brought up on charges for it.

      Just a friendly reminder, bub.

Yes, we can delete any posts that do not follow our community rules. This is your second warning so the next will result in a loss of posting privileges.

"Community rules" on a website do NOT supercede Federal law and Constitutional law. I know you are not a lawyer, but this kind of stuff is taught in 3rd grade civics class. Be warned, I am not to be trifled with.

Big A107: Thanks for the info. Did the FAA tell you what section that ruling is under? Love to have it on hand, I have several guys flying for Realtors in this area who need to learn the rules as do the companies they fly for.

BigA107: I have a question for you. I am commercially rated and just passed the Part 107 and waiting for the license to arrive. Do you know if clients that hire drone operators who do not hold the 107 license can be subject to any FAA fines or laws?
      Thanks in advance. Phil

Hello Phil. Yes an operator doing "Commercial" operations could face a civil fine of $1,100 per incident and the "entity" who acquires/hires a non licensed UAS operator could be liable for $11,000 per incident. This is directly from an email from the FAA last week.

Hello BigA, I am licensed, insured and I had read that you are doing roof inspections. I have a contact to numerous commercial property managers. I would very much appreciate input on any hot buttons that industry might have and also camera requirements, e.g. thermal is nice but is it a requirement? BTW- I am involved with other forums & I actively give back when I can, and am hoping to do the same here.

From what i have seen here, you be da man... I live in Arizona.the best state for free Americans to live and prosper... And we live by the phrase, "right to work state". How does that go for part 107. I love to drone as a hobby, but what if I were to help someone and not really expect any money... Could I maybe be paid a donation? Here in AZ, min wage is the common denomerator.... Thoughts?

Thank you for your kind words. I've been around the block a while but I'm still learning this whole "process" just like everyone else. I just happen to be heavily involved on a local, national and International level so I am more exposed to it than some.

I'm sending you a PM because this is a shot reply box.

Hi Big Al. I am planning an aerial shoot for a property that is in Class G airspace, but according to B4Ufly and Airmap, there is a heliport 3 miles away. Under Part 107, will I still need to get authorization from the Heliport to operate?

About the chick drone comment..... sorry, I was mostly joking, and at best it was just an opinion. Was it any worse than the people who said the Phantom was dead? Regardless, i will stop.
