Phantom 3 Standard- Weird problem

Ok dont worry about red front lights, they irrelevant, they are just to show the user the front and nothing else
The rear arms are what's telling us what the drone is doing, so we got flashing yellow only on the rear so we dont get confused .
Do you have app installed ?
Can you navigate through app ok , under RC settings there's linking there too, have you tryed this yet, this in app process you have to move gimble wheel like the directional pictures it shows you to follow or it dont save or have you tryed this process and it just times out without linking, you get 60 sec to press link button before it times out in which you start process again . Does it complete or fail ?
Sorry for questions but it help fix or point us in right direction
There are only these 2 ways to link , in app or manual without app
Good effort on the gimble repair too
So I’m getting constant yellow flashing in the back lights, I’ve tried using the mobile DJI Go app but it’s not pairing and 60 seconds just Time out

Somebody suggested updating the firmware
Yeh did read a post about update on firmware before it link um but I think that if cam changed,BUT I dont believe sort of because knowing the p3s a bit and it links fine and then prompts the user new update available but a fix for 1 phantom dont fix the other phantom with same thing, seem to have minds if their own at times.
Anyway still searching for info,
1 similar to your gimble plug have a broken antenna plug on the gimble board, from memory on top of the gimble is a small clip plastic cover which gives access to these plugs, might pay to check they clipped on still,,little gold conection on the ends ,

Does telemetry work without fumble as I think this wire is kinda messed up
Nope.

I view the gimbal as the parts that hold the camera, the part that holds that, I call the the gimbal block.

On a P3S all communications go through that block.

Rod ..

Found it!!

Ok. So if I understand correctly, you upgraded the firmware and it didn't work.....so you downgraded back to the original firmware version.

So with the bird turned on, if you press the red link button/ light, does the light blink red to indicate it is ready to link to the r/c?

I just mention also press and hold link button for at least 3 to 4 seconds to see if helps
Turn on drone first, let it start flashing ,turn on rc and try link

Wonder if wifi reset help ,password on back of remote if want to try
