Dji phantom 3 SE battery problem (Pls help ;D)

Hey folks,
I lost my dpi phantom 3 charger on a trip. I didn't want to spend 70$ for a new charger so I decided to buy a car charger (photo). I plugged it in my car but it didn't charge (even when riding). I decided to buy a AC to DC adapter ( picture ) so the car charger could fit in the wall . That didn't work as well. red blink and green blinking ( 3 second interval ) . Anyone has tips ?

Firstly, I might be wrong, but, possibly depending on location, you should be able to get a DJI P3 mains charger cheaper than USD70 with a bit of searching.. Happily, I've got a similar car charger and it works fine.

I don't know exactly what the AC to DC adapter lights mean - but it could be worth checking the centre connection on the in-car charger. This should be spring-loaded and sometimes the spring-loading pin jams or the spring is even left out by the factory on assembly... It should be easy to unscrew to check...

I think the fault is most likely on the car charger, not the adaptor, for obvious reasons. Apart from the obvious reasons, the adaptor is rated at just 500Ma, which is insufficient to power the car charger.

Steve7777 is right at that power output those flashing lights on the adapter probably mean power overload. Without that overload protection the charger would attempt to draw too much current from the adapter and it would very quickly heat up and burn out. As for the charger Have you tried checking the power output on the two pins of the charger with a voltmeter while plugged into the car? Does the output match the rating on the chargers label? Maybe a bad charger? I’ve also had a very few rare occasions where I’d have to push the battery power button once to get the charging cycle started, assuming your battery and charger are good. I’m not 100% sure but I think those rare times the battery was nearly depleted. Good luck!
 
The 12V DC solution (from the wall outlet) has no chance of working. The car charger is 90 Watts output, will look like a 100W+ load from the supply side when you allow for switching losses. At 500ma (rating of current solution your trying) the best you might expect is 6 Watts. The second problem you have is 12V is too low, will likely trigger the LVC circuit in the charger.
