These boards look different. Are you saying the replacement was different? If yes, which of these below are the new and old?

I did not mean that, the two pieces in the picture are both board of image or camera sensor, the board on the right is Phantoms 4 Pro, and on the left is Phantom 4 Advanced.
Both were damaged, before replacing there was a warning in two phantom "Camera Sensor Error" .

Where do you get that board at. What do they call it

At first I took it from another phantom , to experiment. Then I found her in a Phantom shop in Beirut. It is called the Image processor or Camera Systems.
This board has
Ambarella A9-SoC i thank the problem is here.

I have the same issue. I think it was after a upgrade too. it was one month out of warranty. DJI here in Australia didn't want to know about it. A bit disappointing since I have had
  • p2,
  • 2xp3pro
  • 2x p4p,
  • ronin-M,
  • Osmo mobile.
Generally like their gear. I'd be happy to drop the new boards in myself if I could source them (I pulled these ones out to see if simply a dry joint/ribbon was the problem.)
I saw second hand boards for like $800!!!! seriously!

Was repairing the gimbal put in a new ribbon cable and got camera sensor error message, I must have damaged the ribbon doing the repair. So i ordered another new ribbon cable and no more error message.

I have the same issue but now after these posts, I don't know whether to replace the camera sensor board or the ribbon cable. Any way to know which one

the ribbon cable is easy to get. I would start with that. They are about $25 US
the board is hard to get. I buy damaged cameras on eBay and use them for parts. I am out of boards right now.

I found the ribbon cable was pulled out some from the board where it goes into the board by double connector. Zooming in I could see places where it could have cut or scraped thru the ribbon. Where do you get that cable for 25.00? Is it OEM?

no it isn't. I buy them from amazon if I am in a hurry. OEM is about $50

Do you happen to know the DJI part number? I ordered a number 36 overnight but having second thoughts now whether I got the right one. I’d order outside of oem but the last one I got was too short and binds the camera when you look up and when the camera initializes.

Part 36 is for the p4 (standard )
I don't usually have a problem with the ribbon cable. They are pretty tough. If it is nicked or cut then it is no good. I can't see yours good enough to tell.
