Phantom 3 Standard- Weird problem

So no rear lights on arms at all to indercate what drone is doin and only a red gimble light ?
I misread the beeping part ,duno why I thought it had a continuous beeping unlike start up chirp,
This what I was saying about a can of worms,,,unless you get it to link ain't nothing going to happen,
No power at gimble could be ribbon cable or bad board, I not goin to say buy this or that cause might not fix the issue, could also be cheaper to find another p3 for parts so you got bits to try eliminate
Yeh video shows it not happy
Yeah I get the fumble part but why aren’t the arm lights on?

Could have had hard landing maybe and jarred something off main board ,sounds like you have to get in side to check everything ,not sure if gimble ribbon cable gone bad but would not surprise me
Also where gimble clips into board might have broken conection in the board which also happens which could be no power to gimble which make for cant link ,and just mention ribbon cables can go bad without any crashing involved,
Unsure what really to advise apart from stripping gimble to check boards and cables , if it flew previous and just got stored , I'd try ribbon cable set , but original parts only, cheap knock offs wont work

I’ll open it tonight be check everything and update you

I had similar wacky stuff happening with my Phantom 4 Pro this past month. Video, gimbal, and battery issues - all at the same time. Turned out to be a bad SDcard. Crazy!!!

@LOVE NZ, I'm glad your still around 👍

I'm still stuck on it is not linking problem, the battery level looks good
On power up the strobes should be working and the gimbal should be active.without any any connection to the RC.

Tell me all the ways to link it and I’ll try every way tonight

How did you fix it?

@Arkusss
I believe it is not a linking problem.

Normally I would have more focus on this thread, it is what it is at the moment.

I disconnected the gimbal and the drones strobe power on now With sold red in the front and flashing yellow in the back, I found the culprit I believe the Grey ribbon wire with 8 pins in it is broken

Awsome find,,you might be able to fix that since no snapped wires, also rc linking in the app 👍
And just as @RodPad mention it might already be linked so fix your gimble wires and turn on to test if it connects,
This is manual linking process without app conection

Ok dont worry about red front lights, they irrelevant, they are just to show the user the front and nothing else
The rear arms are what's telling us what the drone is doing, so we got flashing yellow only on the rear so we dont get confused .
Do you have app installed ?
Can you navigate through app ok , under RC settings there's linking there too, have you tryed this yet, this in app process you have to move gimble wheel like the directional pictures it shows you to follow or it dont save or have you tryed this process and it just times out without linking, you get 60 sec to press link button before it times out in which you start process again . Does it complete or fail ?
Sorry for questions but it help fix or point us in right direction
There are only these 2 ways to link , in app or manual without app
Good effort on the gimble repair too
