Linking my remote to a new drone

After a tragic incident last year I lost contact with my Phantom 3 4k when I was flying it over water and it sunk to the bottom of the sea. I was thinking of buying another one, but I still have the remote and extra blades. Therefore I want to buy only the aircraft. Before I buy it, I just want to make sure that I can pair my old remote to the new drone. Can someone please confirm this for me? Thanks in advance

So it doesn't matter what remote you're using, it can be any?

I think it need to be a advanced or pro remote,they ues same as 3/4k

The P3A and P3P remote controllers are not compatible with the P34K.

had to post so know i not just said out of the blue,,just for future knowing do they not link or just not compatible ,i miss read read post i did think he was trying different remote for p34k till post number 8 came up
