P3 Firmware GL300A v1.2.6

After I upgrade my GL300A v1.2.6 RC, with the required 2 USB stick upgrades, finally getting to lets say 1.8.0 which is what my GL300C runs..
Will I still be able to disregard the AC "update required" message on DJI Go?

& do you have any recommended tips or precaution's to perform after each upgrade install.?

I'm getting the forced update message quite often; I'm just editing the files when it happens. There are several threads with details, ie.
Forced Go App Update -Workaround

& do you have any recommended tips or precaution's to perform after each upgrade install.?

I'm at AC fw 1.07 and RC fw 1.05; but even older versions are better; it's just not worth the risk to downgrade.

For tips - use a fan to cool down gimbal while updating, or keep the drone outdoors if you're from cold climate area.
