ESC error

My p3p went down in the lake, so after drying it completely I'm getting an ESC warning everything seems to be working but the motors will not start. Can anyone tell me how to fix this or should I send it out for repair since it is still under warranty, any help would be much appreciated

If your warranty covers you for going down in a lake, then claim on the warranty,if it was pilot error you may not be covered. Your flight log will possibly show why it went down.

Then even more problems with warranty, there have been several posts on here claiming DJI will not honour warranty whilst using 3rd party apps, which is a bit unfair, as DJI releases the SDK which Litchi uses.
Good luck, keep us informed , we all like to hear warranty claims with DJI.

Bet you wish the standard had gone down, rather than the "P", but above all, bet you wish neither went down.
I nearly always fly some sections over salt water, so a dunk is drone death for me, but I still get a thrill when my Phantom is back home safe.

Just found the complete board with the led's and the motors and ESC new for 170 on eBay

I'm just going to do this myself plus I'll have extra motors if needed in the future

Good luck, after an unexplained crash on my P2V+ I did a similar repair.Some people find their Phantom is worth more as spares than repairable.

Thanks Jayfdee I was watching how to replace the ESC board on YouTube and seems pretty simple
to do so instead of going through all the red tape with dji repair it will be easier to do myself

Hi everyone, just received the ESC board with motors New on eBay and replaced it. It was very easy to install by the way and now my pro works fine

It's pretty windy here butt pretty stable

Better to install yourself than waiting a month or longer for DJI to repair/return when you can get your bird back in the air
