Uh oh I need a repair shop for my 3 pro

Since the drone worked up to the point I spun the motors it makes sense that it’s a motor error so I ordered 2 more motors. Still need to find a #7 2312 ccw motor.

IIRC, it was Quaddamage who posted this here quite a few years ago

Edit: Ahh, yes, here it is. I had it bookmarked. Click on the link:

Where can I get the unofficial firmware 1.11.0030?

This is the only reference I can find. I'll look around for any others out there.

Here is another. Not sure the validity on this one.......

I did a flight log download and this is what I see. I’m waiting on 3 motors as I’m pretty sure that twisting them up like I did destroyed all four and I’ve already replaced one. If that doesn’t work I may be at the cut my losses point and eventually get a mini.

Yep, that flight log is a great way to troubleshoot issues. Hopefully the 3 new motors will correct the problem. And, just to be on the safe-side, do your first power up start with the props OFF.

Is that Firmware not needed now, due to the facts?

Maybe. The 1.11.0020 firmware for the P3Pro was the issue a few years ago. Hundreds of P3Pros were bricked due to this DJI corrupted firmware version, which caused ESC errors. Rather than admit the mistake, DJI 'released' an "Unofficial Version" ((1.11.0030) as a fix. It was never included as a firmware version on the DJI website,......and it is not available in the firmware archives of Phantomhelp.com.

Trouble is, the OP @Pablodrone downgraded to the infamous bad firmware (1.11.0020 on post #22) in an effort to solve his ESC issues with the P3Pro.

Once the motors are replaced, it may be necessary to adjust the firmware if the ESC error is still present.

I didn't put my Internet Hacking Hat on spent like three hours, geese things have got a lot tighter now.

I did figured out when you download FW from DJI, they have the FW bin files not exposed in other words there web sight grabs the file, it sends it out.

I really good hacker my be able to go though the HTML code, figure out how that part works. :)

If . motor is damaged the others will work. If you screwed the windings or wire you may be shorting or crossing signals causing the drone to know something is wrong and will not apply power. It knows......

I hope that’s not the case because I already replaced the motor that had damaged windings, and the other motors are not working. I’ve got one last motor on order that should be here tomorrow and once I solder the rest of them in I’ll know what’s going on. My suspicion is that when I started the drone, all four motors got wound up and broke a wire at the base of the windings. If that’s not the case, it really doesn’t make sense because before this happened, I could start it up and fly it

I am sitting here in Moorpark with a low mileage P3P just sitting around that I will sell. If you are interested send me a PM
