Replaced camera now getting error

WOW, I can make a new post without replying every thing looks normal again!!

So, I started looking through all the posts from the beginning.

@quaddamage Posted this.
"So you have a fully working gimbal+camera - that's good, this is actually the most expensive part of the drone."

@Pablodrone
Hum, are you still using what the same gimbal assembly, just changed the camera?

Isn’t there a way to get it going without the camera/gimbal? For what I use it for it doesn’t leave my line of sight and there are no obstructions. I just can’t justify buying another camera assembly if there’s no guarantee it’ll work.

I totally understand your point. I know it can be done, but I've never done it. Perhaps there are threads/posts here that explain how to do it.......or members familiar with the process.

I'd start a new thread concerning this subject, rather than imbed it into this thread. I'll look around on the forum also and see if I find any threads on this subject...and get back to you.

Yes this thread is getting long and confusing.

Start a new thread based on the problem now.

What is always nice is put this link in it..
If you would like know, what I have tried so far.

Then what I think is important, post on this thread, where they should go now.

What will happen if you don't, members will keep posting on this thread.

@captainmilehigh
I bet you agree, we been here for awhile

Hi M....Im inclined to think camera install to be suspect. Not you but camera itself. Which caused power issues manifesting in faulty readings on all those calibrations. Updating may have tried to calibrate back to specifics but are unable. As long as camera is installed these issues may persist. Uninstall suspect camera, reinstall busted camera and recal. Everything reverse of what you did. If after this esc errors persist you may have damaged power dist board or component in drone. Never seen a camera marked as Phantom Pro. Mine says dji on lense. Where was it marked? By the scrapper?

This is the direction it went, whatever :rolleyes:

I’m throwing in the towel…I’ve tried my damaged camera and get all the errors. Selling it as a parts drone and buying another one built for what I need it for. Thanks for all your help

It Sucks to hear that, but I get it.

Correct me if I'm missing something.
If this correct, you found problems that ended up being related to the prop guards, which was on it when you got it?

I save a lot of these threads to help others.
These forums are F*N Great.

Come back and help, share your knowledge.
The pay isn't very good, but you help somebody out !

That is makes it worth it. :) 👍👌
