Drone will not pair with RC.

Repairing crashed P3P. RC in pairing mode, beeping with blue blinking.
Power on P3P, it's pairing light alternates green and red. Push pairing button and light goes to solid red. Numerous attempts with different timing/ length of button push, always goes to red. No damage can be seen, all antennas, and other connectors are attached. Should I try replacing the circuit board in the sensor housing ? Thanks.

No app. This is done between the RC and the drone.

Normally yes, you would use the app to put the RC into pairing mode and then press the pairing button on the AC for 2 seconds. You can however put the RC into pairing mode manually (without a mobile device / app) by following a certain order of button presses. Then the same, press the AC pairing button for 2 seconds.

This isn't a procedural problem. Something is broken. I just replaced the broken landing leg and have ordered a sensor module where the antennas terminate and the pairing button resides.
