Ive been looking on the map and think I found a new spot only 15min away that's pretty open and partly over water (I dont like the flying over water too much) going to scope it out later today. I need a good spot to get some miles damnit!!

Alright this is the spot i wanna try...5min from my house..i just need to call the owner and get permission. Looks clear for a few miles on top of a cleared flat hill next to gravel/stone machinery

theres a better spot 500' down the road thats up about 75' above here...its a empty house for sale..was thinkn of callin the realtor to "check the property out" lol...you can see over the trees for miles!

If youre on the street youre not trespassing. You might get funny looks but you can fly right from where you're parked. And yes it looks like a good spot, it looks like it's slightly higher or at least level with the rest of the surroundings minus a couple hills

lol ill get shot over here if I don't get permission...my town is small but theres a lot of old timers that think the road is still their property because their property was there before the road. I called the place tho and left a message...the guy that owns that business/property delivers my home heating oil and is very nice so im hoping he just gives me the green flag to go whenever I want. I had an emergency and had to go home an hour ago and on my way back I stopped in there again and found a really nice clearing where I'd be able to park and setup for the day...I really hope he says yes! I hate my current "bowl" spot

I got to scout out that property..he said i can drive in there and take a pic of where i want to fly...

completely flat dirt platform and all you can see is tree tops!..im ready to finally put these setups to good use!
