Camera question

I videoed fireworks last night and I noticed white dots when the view is dark.
Is this a characteristic issue with the sensor when it is pitch black or something wrong with my camera?
I'll post a link to the vid and you'll notice some gimbal twitch too.
I crashed it earlier that day and bent an arm slightly and one of the gimbal mounts had torn away so I secured it with a zip tie making the gimbal uneven, not level. I'm hoping that is the reason it was twitching.

on mine it looks more like hash marks.
These are NOT very good low light cameras.

I see that and it seems you had more lights from the city in the background so it wasn't pitch black.
Thanks for the feedback. This was my first time flying at night.
As for the crash I have ordered a new shell and replacing it this week. Thank goodness for YouTube!
