Did my first test flight using the maxx range for P3S wi-fi last nite.
UNboosted and just outside of my yard on the dead-end road I live on, I got a pretty clear straight shot down that road although there is some trees off to the side on both sides and my end of the street is slightly elevated over the rest of the road. Didn't do so great start seeing signal issues at 8000 feet signal finally dropped about 15,000 feet. I expected a lot more out of it. So I took it across the street to my "good path"this morning, (The same spot I got 36,000 feet with the terminator unboosted )everything was going good with the maxx, hundred percent signal till I got to 3 miles then bar star Droppin, once I hit 18,000' signal lost altogether. Picked it back up on the RTH at 10,000'.
To be fair I decided to hook up the terminator minutes later. Unboosted also. Flying low altitude once I got to 3 miles it just kept on going, so I figured OK the terminator is better for standards Wi-Fi, well at the exact same spot that the maxx dropped the signal completely, The terminator went from 100% signal to completely dropped(I checked the logs afterwards it was within 100 feet where they both dropped) some kind of signal there was obviously stronger than mine. All in all, though not by much, the terminator did do a little better & picked the signal back up at 12,000' so a couple thousand feet sooner

Good work..its still better than using the small dbs unboosted. Thats still great distance for the standards 2.4 without boosters...im still impressed with the maxx and termy

You're using your new DBS (2-2.4&1-5.8)? Stock battery on p3S. Did you have great signal

right now just all stock, need to go get a glue gun maybe tomorrow. I do have the DBS it came in 2 days ago, I had no signal or video drop stock so thats a plus !! Drilling and glueing tomorrow !!

There's a few buildings nothing over 80 feet tall and there's a cell tower off to the side but 150 feet tall, but nothing that's ever given me a problem before
