The BIG question: Does the Lightbridge increase range?

I hadn't given it much thought until I read that one person's opinion states that a Lightbridge set-up gives greater range. I've already purchased two video transmitters (2 projects) from the "stickies" list. The Mini's are next.

I don't give much credence to this opinion, but it does make me wonder.. Your opinions are appreciated.

The range is comparable according to specs and once again will mostly depend upon terrain. FYI, the GoPro won't output HD while recording so I think it's truly a waste on a typical P2 setup. That being said, as a value person, I can't see spending 7x more when the sticky thread setup gets the job done well (not assuming cost of mobile device you bring to lightbridge). From my experience fpv made the single greatest difference in my P2 experience as I had no certainty previously what I was shooting until later while it simultaneously completes your flying experience to bring maximum enjoyment each flight.
