Getting a new Samsung Galaxy Edge 7 tomorrow. I am still using a very old version of DJI go - never updated the bird.
Apart from the tilted horizon it works perfectly. Great range and never a single problem.
I will need to install DJI Go on my new phone but I don't want all the restrictions. Would 1.4 be my best bet and if so where can I find it?
Thanks in advance!

I installed the go-app straight from the store on my new Invidia K1 and left everything else the same. I'm on 1.3.20 and it works fine. Msinger has archived updates at the bottom of his page but the go-app will work fine with your 1.19 other than the " you need to update" message that comes on in the beginning :)

That is great thanks.
Which version would be best that would avoid channel restrictions and no fly zones etc? Would I need to upgrade the bird or just instal the app on my phone?

Just install the go-app and check it out. I had an older version of the go-app saved in my store but when I hit install it just put in the new one anyway but... No Problems being that the updates on the bird are where the restrictions come in.

yup, plus you can run the old version of Litchi also.

To get all of those great new features... like geofencing, slowed down motors, etc... lol.

FYI that all of the old firmware is available directly from DJI. Scroll past the update notes (below in red) to get to the links.
The P3A links are first and further down are the P3P links.

April 2, 2016 Update:
After I posted these links a few days ago, they have now been copied to the Phantom Help site as well. If you prefer to get the exact same links from that site instead, click here for P3A or here for P3P.

April 8, 2016 Update:
AC FW 1.8 and RC FW 1.6 were released together with an encryption change. If you have one (or later), you must have the other (or later) or you will have issues.

November 29, 2016 Update:
With v1.10 and later DJI removed the ability to easily downgrade by one version via official means.

July 7, 2017 Update:
FW 1.11.20 introduced significant flight distance restrictions that need to be removed. Click here to read about it, get some of the background, and how to remove the restrictions.

May 30, 2019 Update:
DJI had been officially providing a tweaked FW version (1.11.30) on a case by case basis to select users who say they saw ESC issues after the update to 1.11.20.
Now it also seems that DJI has been using their tweaked versions (1.11.30) when refurbishing units and not letting buyers know about it. If you buy a refurb it may come with v1.11.30 already installed. The tweaked version (1.11.30) can be found if you care to search for it since a few people have posted a link to it on MediaFire. Since that link is not directly from DJI, I haven't included it here. Note that some uninformed DJI reps tell people that there is no such thing as v1.11.30 which is totally false.

December 17, 2019 Update:
You may also try
this site to locate various FW versions, though unlike the links posted here below I can't guarantee that the files on that site are official versions directly from DJI. As such, use appropriate caution.

[v1.4.1 and later are for the AC only. With that version and later, the RC is updated via the app only. Prior to that, the same file updated both RC and AC. Note: Some GL300A RCs needed to have v1.4.1 installed via USB before they went to app updates only]

I installed the latest firmware on my Phantom 3 Advanced and am using the latest DJI Go app and have no issues. I'm not sure what people are talking about regarding video issues because I have not had any issues. I just came back from a flight and was a maximum of $2,634 feet away with full control and full video with no lag. Maybe I am just lucky??????

Here is a Healthy Drones link to my flight: HealthyDrones.com - Innovative flight data analysis that matters

That was a funny, right? ;-)
As I have not experienced them maladies associated with new firmware or any of those Pilot~Go app updates either. I have done them all, without any regret or remorse. Just lucky I suppose, and a trouble free drone to appreciate all the more.

Have you tried to fix tilted horizon? It should be an easy fix.

I haven't bothered to be honest. I normally fly in mountains so it isn't such a problem. I would like to install Litchi though to take advantage of special features.
It is just my P3 has been so so awesome I don't want to spoil it.
No stupid no fly zones or registering online.
No worries about motors not doing as they are asked.
No worries about channel hacks and lack of range.
Just hassle free flying.
Had my longest ever flight last week - 12,500 ft totally standard.
