Hi All, so my Phantom 3 Pro is due to arrive Thursday.. I cannot wait :)

One thing i've commonly read prior to purchase is the instability or poor design of the stock legs.

Has anyone experienced issues whilst landing or have options for better alternative legs ?

I saw this (bleow) which I thought was pretty cool but it's a bit too expensive and blocks the sonar so is a no go but there may be others out there... I've seen a few others but i'm based in the UK and these others are shops in the US.

Many Thanks

I bought black landing gear and switched out the stock white ones. They came from China and are pretty hard but the stock ones are fine also. I switched out cause I have a black carbon skin and black props so I wanted black landing gear also.

The stock landing gear works just fine if you're landing on level surfaces. If you often land on uneven surfaces, then some type of stabilizer would be useful. Check out Polar Pro's landing gear stabilizers for a less expensive option.

Thanks Phantom - I did spot these ones but they don't have them on the Amazon UK website... they would have been ideal.

So your one from China was exactly the same as the stock one but in black ? - There seems to be a nice range of alternative landing legs/gears for the Phantom 2 but not the Phantom 3

You can buy them directly from Polar Pro too. Go here.

Nice one Phantom - just placed the order :) .. Hopefully the extra height will help protect the camera and the extra length give a more stable landing.

I need to save up for a 3D printer - the options will then be endless.

Mine were the same size as stock. I grab out the air instead of landing so don't need extra space. Here is some shots of mine with Black landing gear.

I like your phantom setup with the black legs, props and carbon fiber decal.

Thanks for sharing the pictures..It looks pretty sleek, I especially like the legs and props but would want the whole body black.. I've seen a few pictures of an all black Pro. Easier to see against white/grey clouds also :)
