P3S 2312 vs 2312A

I'd like to purchase a P3S and I'm a total noob to RC and quadcopters.

Can anyone confirm that DJI is ONLY shipping the P3S with the 2312A motors? From what I've read, the 2312A is the better motor. Is this true??
