I live in Manchester, NH. Recently our Standard 3 has refused to connect to WIFI. I have tried every trick and suggestion I've found on forums and on YouTube, with no success. I'd like to avoid sending it to DJI. We all know that their "customer service" is anything but! Does anyone know of a reputable repair shop in NH? Thanks for the help!

I worked with Cloud City Drones | Rhode Island's First and Only Drone Shop | DJI in Rhode Island. Not NH but much closer than Cali. One note is that their repair and turnaround times as stated on the website are not accurate - they acknowledged as much after starting the process as they've had a huge surge in business as the market is blowing up. I was frustrated about that, hopefully they'll get that communication cleared up. But otherwise they did a good job. One other note, in the end I chose not ot do the repair and got a new unit instead as it was a full gimbal replacement cost ... a new unit was a small enough delta more. They waived half their repair fee since they didn't end up doing the repair.

I have a DJI phantom 3 that I have had for a while. I just pulled it out last week after about 6 months. I charged all batteries and controller. I turned on the Drone then the controller. camera came on the drone ran it test. I went to start the motore but they did not turn on. The drone an controller do communicate, but the motors do not turn on. I am not finding any place that does Drone repairs. Any suggestion? I don't really want to send it to DJI.
Thanks for any suggestion.

First of all...........Welcome to the Forum.

Second.............you posted in a thread that is almost 8 years old. May have been better to start a new thread, but we'll see how it goes...

Need a bit more info, like:

*Which P3 model do you have? Standard, Pro, Advanced?
* What does the GoApp indicate? Ready to Fly?.....Disconnected? * What color and sequence do the drones arm lights indicate? Should be Solid Red in front....Blinking Green on rear. (after IMU warmup)

Any other info you can add will help members determine the issue.

Hello Caption,
The P3 is a standard model W323.The App says ready to go. Lights are red solid and green flashing. When I move the controls down and inward they do not start. I did some Fly last fall. Did fine. Camera works and I can control it as well. Both batteries and controller are fully charged.
Thanks for responding

Have you tried 'Auto-Takeoff' option on the app?

You can also move the sticks down and out for controlled takeoff.

Yes I tried the auto take off. Still no motors. Also tried down and out and up and in and out.
Have tried an IMU calibration lately?

Side note: Do not do any firmware updates.....even if it asks you to. Most firmware updates do more harm than good.

By chance are you near an airport, or similar no-fly zone?
