You can install it manually with a Mac, but you have to use the command line via the Terminal app.
Any chance of a quick walk through?

Or use the Icarus app on your phone, does about the same thing. I know there's a Android version, not sure on IOS.Looks like I'll stick with my parabolic then lol.

5 Ways to Run Windows Software on a Mac
Yes, but you can upgrade to v5.3 straight without revert back to ceHi Papatita!
I'm currently using magic power version 3.8 on firmware 1.5.7.
I'm planning to upgrade the Magic Power version to the latest one : version 5.3.
Before applying it, I just would like to ensure how to proceed exactly.
Here are the steps I'm planning to do :
1. turn on AC / RC
2. run magic power V3.8
3. apply the "Revert back to CE"
4. restart AC / RC
5. run magic power V5.3 and follow the steps as in your video
Could you please confirm if that's correct?
Thanks a lot!
Julien
I used Magic power v 5.3 and with windsurfer I got 1200 m in 400 m altitude... Look

Sorry... See post #1074awesome video...
What windsurfer did you use? And where were you stood in relation to the top of the mountain. Did you get any weak signals at all?
Great work
As papas said , in some cases second step is not required.Thank your for your advice.
I just applied the upgrade and am now in 5.3, with Tx-power of 24 dbm
Just to give you a quick feedback on one point that appeard a bit weird to me :
- I first reverted back to stock (cause I wanted to be able to compare the signal strengh between 17 dbm and 24 dbm, using with the android "Wifi Analyzer" app)
- then clicked on "Step 1"
- restarted both AC and RC
- clicked OK on the message
- clicked "Step 2"
But it then failed, telling "Can't telnet to RC"
I've already faced that behaviour, and knew that I just need to try again from the beginning
- so, I restarted both AC and RC again
- clicked "Step 1" (Step 1, not Step 2)
And, very surprising, I then got the message "Restart your RC & Aircraft and Enjoy New Mod", meaning the operation is over
So, I NEVER had to click on "Step 2" button...
But I can confirm I have a TX-power of 24 dbm.
=> do you see any explanation of that? do you think that is normal?
Or should I restart the whole procedure to ensure it's working as awaited?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Julien
