Flight controller firmware to 3.02

End of my attempts to set a personal height record. Currently at 1458 meters (unmodified P2V).
New descent time 12 minutes...

Correction: When going Home automatically, max descent is still 4 m/s.

New slower descent speed may secretly be put in place to discourage people flying really high. Actually tho I think it only effects the decent speed when going straight down not moving forward while going down. I personally don't want mine slower than 3km sec
Wow, I almost never descend at 6700 mph (3km/sec) :D

Really? You should try it sometime, its a blast!

Really ?

I think it's very important that they limit this speed too, the things that can happen during manual descending can also happen during an auto descending.

Geert.
I expect this is much more safe, because corrections can be made very fast by the autopilot system. I would expect that at a certain instability, the descent rate will be restricted. Haven't tried it in too rough weather, but so far all 'rough' descents went perfect.

I have not yet upgraded to v2.0 or v3.0 or v3.02 (3.2).
The Phantom is working very well as it is on v1.08.
However, I would like slower descent and no bouncing on RTH.
So I am tempted.
I hear that there has been some experience of slowness to get 6 satellites on v3.
Anyone confirm?
