P4 Firmware Firmware cables

I'm a newby. P4P firmware upgrade. Was instructed to connect the aircraft to the iPhone 7plus. Am I missing a special cord to do that?

If it is similar to the P4, I have a small cable supplied with the drone for exactly that. Connect your device and use the supplied USB cable to connect to the drone.

Thanks. I must have misplaced that cable. Once they are connected are you still able to follow the upgrade progress on the screen? I believe you can only connect one or the other.

You would have to follow the P4P FW process which might be different to my P4. I upgraded my RC first through the app and the upgraded the drone through Assistant 2.
There are a lot of posts and the usual confusion about the latest FW upgrade. There is a video posted at #18 that may be of help:

You need a C cable adapter, the one that comes with it is a Micro USB adapter. I bought, 3 3 foot USB to C on Amazon. You can also get the USB to Apple cables, even shorter.
