Cracks ... me too

Don't bother with epoxy or glues. Use plast-aid. It's amazing. I filled the four spots under the motor and have no cracks at all, and I have a old original shell.

Watch some YouTube videos on what it can do. I was very impressed. It's really that good. You have to work pretty fast at it cause it thickens up quick. Do one at a time. Only make enough for one so your not wasting any..

Hey Atlantic Surfer yes who needs stress cracks on P3P..have you ever heard of "Tarzans Grip" worth a go!

Ok but seems to be a local product ! No way I can find this in Europe !
I've had a look at the safety data sheet for Tarzan's Grip adhesive and it's made up of:-
Acetone 30-60%
Ethyl Acetate 10-30%
n-Butyl Acetate 1-10%
Non-hazardous Ingredients Balance

I'm no expert, nor a chemist - but I would guess that it's similar to the specialist plastic glues produced and sold in Europe by the UHU and Bostik companies, for example. However, I know that acetone is a serious plastic solvent and I, personally, would be wary of using such a product on my drone as it may change the chemical composition and physical properties of the plastic shell, thus possibly causing some unexpected and catastrophic failure in the future.

Does your comment 'worth a go' mean that you have actually used Tarzan's Grip without any problems so far, Alan Russel? If so, how long ago did you apply it?

Thanks for this warning Steeve
No matter now, I have bought a new shell ...

I wouldn't use any glue or epoxy. Plast-aid isn't glue it's basically liquid plastic that bonds extremely well to the plastic on the phantoms. You just need to be careful when applying cause you will have to use a demel tool to get any excess off. If it was me I would put it on a brand new shell as well. Those have been known to crack. It would be easier to apply on a empty shell too. Then you would never have to worry about it again unless you crashed it hard of course[emoji13]
