hi guys,

i only get like 4-6 GPS range (or whatever) when i fly in my area (brisbane) and when i do i only get about 40-50m of video feed range before it says "lost connection", when this happens i can still control my drone but i cannot see the live video or take photos.

so what i am asking is does gps signal effect video transmitting range?

BTW it takes a long time for the gps to connect

Whatever the issue is, it's not related to GPS.
The Phantom's GPS is passive technology - it's not transmitting anything.
Do you have a clear view of the sky for GPS reception?
Do you have your antenna orientated correctly? (flat side of the antenna facing toward the Phantom)

Only 4 to 6 satellites ? That doesn't seem right, unless you flying in the forest or a gorge. Don't you need more then 6 for P-GPS (green)?
