Yeah, I know it's hard to get excited about a cable, but I found the perfect iPhone/iPad cable for use with the P3. Exactly the right length for use with full-size iPad Air (and fine with Mini/iPhone), nylon jacket so the cable won't wear after repeated unplugging/plugging like plastic will, and available in gold or silver that perfectly accentuates your Phantom 3 Pro or Advanced and color-coordinates the remote with the quadcopter!

I got the 1-foot Gold one and it looks great with my P3 Pro. No slack to dangle and catch on something, but not a too-tight fit either. You'd think it was designed for the combo!

I got the silver cable. It should be a better color match for the Phantom remote.

Some of those nylon ones are built better than others. The nylon sheathing can come loose and slide down. Sometimes the lightning side of the plug comes a tad loose. So far I've only found 2 brands that lasted over a year, but I'd have to go through my amazon orders to remember!

So far the only Phantom related item that I have is this. If you stare at it hard enough, you can almost visualize a real Phantom and controller to go with it.

fakbik, check out the reviews on Amazon. The maker of this product also advertises it as being durable at the bending point. I've compared many and this one seems to be rated the highest.

Rothgarr, I like the right-angle cables too. Unfortunately, they are all pretty long :(

Yep, I have a few nylon cables from different manufacturers and these are definitely higher-quality than the cheaper versions. Good quality connectors. the nylon sheath, etc.

Gold (matches P3 Pro): http://amzn.to/1KkqXDK
Silver (matches P3 Advanced and the controller itself): http://amzn.to/1FQSPAh

I bought 2 of the Anker 1' . Quality looks good and works with all my apple products. Do not have my P3 so cannot comment on length but from what I hear 1' is good length. Also see they come with 18 month warranty for whatever good that might be.
