I prefer a coiled cord.

To each his own. I was glad to get rid of my last coiled cord when I got rid of my last corded landline phone. Invariably the coil gets twisted with me!

Rothgarr, I like the right-angle cables too. Unfortunately, they are all pretty long

The right angel one actually sticks out from the iPad just as far as the silver clad 1 foot one I bought. The cable is very flexible and can be curved around very close to the plug without stress.
