Oh man so apparently I wasn't logged in on my cell phone to the site and as I was going to add some pictures it told me I needed to log in and then when I logged in it just erased all my post and what I was going to say. So now I got to do it all over again. That was something I didn't know. So I busted my antenna on my version. 1. Phantom 3. Standard remote. I did solder it together but that's probably not going to work or last but I'm going to order something new. I just don't know that connection to the PCB board. What is that called? What's that size that I need to get and then I'm going to follow that up with a end piece? I guess that's the male or female end that I can unscrew so I don't bust it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all you do. I did search the forms, many threads on the subject but no one I didn't see anything where they gave me that name or the type of connection that's used.

Those are the "u.fl" cables for your antenna leads. They are very delicate and break easily.

They 'snap in or out' by pushing/ pulling straight up with needle nose pliers. If they are damaged it is best to replace the entire cable.

Thank you. Is that the male end I'm looking for? Also after I get my new parts, how necessary is it to recover the connection with I think was silicone ? Was the silicone originally there as some protection or do these connections have a tendency to separate? Thanks again.

The wires have the female ends, and the components they plug into are male.

Suggest you use only genuine OEM DJI parts......replacing the entire cable.....not just a connector.

Many wiring connections are secured using hot glue, not silicone.

I seen this post yesterday, well I didn't respond the text to busy.
I just looked at again.
Yes, don't mess with the connectors, etc.
Soldering on this stuff, If you know what your going to do before you heat up the iron, go with it.
