Northern California - Clear Lake

As far as I know, I'm the lone Phantom flyer around this territory. Please let me know if you are within driving distance would like to fly. There's some beautiful country around these parts to get a GoPro lens on.

I am in Sunnyvale, Ca. Near Auck, and Darkhorse.

Auck, have you driven out Sierra road ? some of that area might be worth looking into. I haven't been there since the
mid 90's , but my kids and I used to take the rc trucks out there.
It might be cool for you, Darkhorse and myself to get together.

Sierra road goes east, quite a ways, turns into Felter road, which turns into Calaveras road, which goes into Milpitas.

It's been almost 20 years since I took the kids out looking for places to play with the rc monster trucks they had. It may be
all developed now.

Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Lawrence Xpressway / 237 is very popular with the "park flyer" rc crowd, especially on weekends.
The park does charge an entrance fee.

BonerFortuna, I'm flying around Orchard Beach in the Bronx as well as any local spots.....sorta new to the DJI as I've had it about a week and loving it- would like to hookup with other DJI flyers for some flying.....Van Cortlandt Park should be a great spot- plenty of open space and free parking....let me know if you want to come up here to fly a bit!
