Why did this hsppen??

Was practicing for my first shoot this week when all of a sudden my brand new (about a month old) bird decided to stop...mid-flight! I had total L.O.S. so nothing was hit. It made a loud gear grinding noise and dropped to the ground from about 40'. Thank God I'm insured but this is 2 p4p's in just over a month! First one was a fly away due to GPS malfunction. I'm really REALLY getting tired of replacing my drone with their very short lives!!

what do you need as far as video cache?

Nothing unusual in the logs for that last flight, which is not particularly surprising if this was sudden power failure. You will need to retrieve the DAT file for that flight from the aircraft itself - that has much faster logging and less latency - it should show the voltage decay at the end.

it powers up, not sure what you mean by assistant 2

Oh...I see now. How do I get that? It was automatic on my iPad but not on mac. All i had to do was plug it in on my iPad

DJI Assistant 2 is the application on your computer that will connect with the aircraft.

So Assistant 2 doesn't see the aircraft, or you can't find the files? And are you using the latest version?
