UAS Integration Pilot Program

"The UAS Integration Pilot Program is an opportunity for state, local, and tribal governments to partner with private sector entities, such as UAS operators or manufacturers, to accelerate safe UAS integration."

See more details on the FAA's website here.

Thank you but I know about what it says on the FAA website. I was hoping for more information from those in-the-know here.

While I think the idea has some merit I'm doubtful it's going to bring about any benefit long-term. I'm a member and to call it "disorganized" is an understatement.

After registering, I have been reached out to by many organizations about interest on future projects or discussion points. None or these really had any sort of order. After watching the presentations regarding the "flow" or the program... As BigA107 said, it is the most convaluted program I have ever seen. Its supposed to allow larger organization to connect with private sector business owners to build programs that work with the FAA to use the airspace in new ways.
