Phantom 3 4k gimbal only work on start up

Hi all, I have an issue with my p34k, the gimbal refuses to work only on startup sequence, does work if I hold in the pairing button on startup, which leads me to a firmware issue. DJI don’t support the downloadable version anymore only updatable through the app, wondering does anybody have a copy cheers Jim

All firmware can be gotten here, but i would be wary of updating the FW on these older quads

Hopefully you didnt have any issues but you are a braver man than me if you attempted it
 
Yeah, gave it a go but hasn’t solved anything . Couldn’t get it to upload , so going to try a new gimbal ribbon, clutching at straws.
The OEM part number for the DJI Phantom 3 Professional/Advanced/4K gimbal ribbon cable is
Part 49. This flexible flat ribbon cable is designed for the 4K camera system on these models.

I'd recommend ONLY a OEM DJI ribbon cable #49. There are copycat aftermarket cables out there, but most rarely work correctly. Good luck.

It will look like this, come in a smoke colored bag with correct DJI Part # 49 labeling........and will probably be priced near this price listed.

There are knockoffs out there for $10-$20......but they rarely work correctly....if at all. Again,.....good luck. 👍👍
