You need to consider the blade pitch too. 3-bladed props can be designed to give the same amount of lift per RPM as 2-bladed if the the pitch is reduced.

True however will require more power from the motor to achieve that same thrust (less flight time).

take a look on u tube they are extremely unbalanced not worth it.i used them on my P2.and when i flew it the vibration was so bad.it fudged up the imu.i had no controll and it wanted to fly away.it basically did what ever it wanted todo.then finally it came down to about ten feet and i had to kill the power to get it to land.the esc cant compensate for a triblade.good luck
