sorry noob question

Evening all

Got a noob question, I have modded my fc40 controler to use different antennas, I keep seeing 5.8GHz circular polarized antennas being sold in 2's TX RX??? I take it using this I would been to add one to my FC40 as well as remote??

Sorry if this is a stupid question, just getting into this hobby.

Not sure about your question, but the circularised antenna you can add to your tx which is much better than stock antenna, and usually a pin wheel for both frequencies on the UAV for both the control and video can be done.
I have upgraded my video feed using antenna from horizon and FPVLR on both Rx and tx and on my control on the tx with a circular polarised left hand which has trebled my stock distance and I don't loose video either.
