I’m looking to use my P3P without the camera. Has anyone removed it and flown successfully. I’m using the drone for a specific reason where it’s always in my sight and no obstructions. What is the process to be able to do this?

There's nothing you wouldn't figure out yourself:

1. make sure you're on the FW you want
2. detach transparent plastic pins which should be installed on two opposite rubber dampers
3. Detach rubber bumpers, be careful not to put stain on two ribbons
4. detach the ribbons

To remove the pins, their caps to be exact, I'm just prying the plastic blockades with screwdriver. Some people prefer to push the caps up where the pin is thicker and that releases the blockades enough to allow to pry them out in a quick move. And some are just cutting these.

I removed everything and I get an esc error. I think this is tied back to when I crashed it. I’m fairly certain there is damage I cannot see

Hum, there was a person that removed the gimbal and flew it.
I can't find it..
This guy was flying his bird with no gimbal or camera.
He did have to have gimbal hooked up to Re link the remote to the bird.

To make sure the gimbal must be connected to get any errors on any P3*?

The ESC error is definitely a problem. 👌

Rod .
