Pluto Mission: Was it a P3?

ROFL!!! Bad photoshop Oso... Like a 9 year old did it. ;-) No way anyone will believe this... :p

Nice.

It never occurred to me that anyone on this forum would actually think it was meant to be serious. The fact that someone did might be even more entertaining than the original post.

As long as people are having fun with it I guess it's all good, right?

Absolutely! Put a big smile on my face and that's what it's all about. :)

I used to photoshop a lot (see profile pic) but then I got this Mac and trying to use my Paint Shop Pro via PC VM isn't working so well.. Ah well.. :)

I like the flight time of the NH. If only plutonium were available in every corner drugstore!

With 9.5 years flight time, I think the drug stores will catch up eventually....

No worries, you proved us the Phantom can fly to Pluto while still having 26% battery left. Have it scoop up some, fly home and you'll never have to recharge again!

I can see the threads on newhorizonpilots.com now...

"After 3 years of flying the app is showing my battery temperature at 320 C, should I worry?"

"DIY: Homemade Americium-214 RTG"

"Lost FPV and hit asteroid - parts for sale"

"Tired of waiting for APL to ship my Horizon...any 3rd party dealers in stock?"

Oh it was a firmware upgrade. I thought you had executed a mid flight CSC.

This photo was reported to have been taken in a side room near the New Horizon's control room. A drone pilot was seen flying a P3, believed to be in orbit around Pluto. NASA commented, "We like to keep costs low, but still use the best technology available."
Actually, the lenses made for several of the Cameras, most notable "Alice" and "Ralph" were made about an hour away from me. The workers said the hardest part was waiting 11 years to see if they were successful or not. Good stuff.

So AWESOME! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
