Ok so I tried my data cable and a bunch others in my old Mac running 10.11.1, downloaded DJI Assistant 2 v1.2.4 and the HoRNDIS add on software. shutdown restarted. Nada. I even tried the disk utility to see if I could get it to mount. Unfortunately I don't have a micro usb device to test the cable data feature. But I labeled it as data. And every time I plugged in the computer I got the red light showing the controller was charging.
The only thing left to do is see if I can reset the wifi network and downgrade the DJI GO app which may actually cause more problems trying to connect to the controller.
