hello there I was just wondering when I fly my phantom 3 standard and I don't want to answer my cell phone when I am flying could I set my cell phone to the do not disturb on my settings from phone, I REALLY do not like talking on the phone while flying my drone, and do not want to fly in airplane mode, just like flying and having fun flying, some feed back would be nice, thanks, have been flying for a year now.love it

You didn't specify if you have an Apple phone or an Android phone, so I'll answer generically. You could use the "Do not disturb" setting on your phone to stop calls and unwanted notifications from disrupting your flight time. You also didn't indicate why you don't like using airplane mode. For many people, that's an easy way to stop unwanted interruptions. However, in the case of the P3S, switching to airplane mode will disable the wi-fi connection that's required when flying the P3S. In that case, you could turn wi-fi back on to reconnect with the P3S, but that's an additional step that could be eliminated by using "Do not disturb" setting. Good luck.

I use airplane mode, then turn on the wi-fi. No Ringy-Dingy.

Yes, you could do that on any Android/Apple phone.

I do the same. Airplane mode with WiFi turned back on.
