Phantom 3 standard connection N/A

Hey there
I had issue with connexion between aircraft and RC in app
RC solid RED
No information in app , no camera feed , no information, distance, battery...the signal Is N/A
But RC work with aircraft correct
I can control with it and gamble and camera moving but aircraft flying with limited range ( i guess about 100m)
I tried to linking RC with aircraft by two ways but it doesn’t work anymore
Update all versions of software, reinstall
The same issue
My question :
How can i know where the problem
Anyone had same problem ?

Could you connerct the mobile with the RC ?
What version of FW is on the Phantom and RC?
If the AC flies as you want and you don´t get any info of telemetry or feed then your Phantoms WIFI is still not estaplished yet.
Start the RC and AC last but not least make an IP scan of your Phantom. If you see only 1 or 2 IP addresses then your bird is not connectet via WIFI.

Hey peter , as you know we can’t update FW to RC in P3 standard as pro or advanced
No usb support in RC , RC Is solid red .
i dont know whats RC firmware
The RC Is connected to App the two in same wifi , view camera active i can enter to app but no infos there

After that app asked me to change the weak pass 12341234
I did it by the app and
Then i can’t linking RC and app anymore
There are two ways to linking
But it not work
RC solid RED and aircraft front both solid red

#1 There is sequence on the remote to reset the remote SSID pass back to default.
#2 Then reinstall the app, if needed.
#3 The link status on the Phantom is not the lights on the prop arms. Its small hole under the Phantom that has the link light and link button.

Both front well always be red?

I wrote here that way after i tried all ways possible
Yes both always red solid
Rest pass done
Linking rc and aircraft not possible by app RC link or by move S1 3 times and pressing on the button under the aircraft.. no answer .. CR still make beep ang flashing red
But how RC can controlling to aircraft that thing i don’t understand

Your Phantom sees the remote, the remote doesn't see the Phantom.

I have a Phantom 3 Standard, and have not been able to fully understand the communications loops on my device. My guess is this: Controller transmits signals (uplink?) to aircraft via single external antenna..... on 5.8 Gig frequency Aircraft sends signals (downlink?) to controller's internal...

You can do a n IP-scan with a laptop with AngryIPScan installed. Connect the Phantoms WIFI and you can see in that program the IP of the RC. This should be 192.168.1.1 and the AC 192.168.1.2 and the laptop is then the 192.168.1.3. If the last IP address not shown on that scanner program then the bird can´t send the telemetry or a feed via RC to the mobile.

Start the RC then the bird without the SD card inserted. Wait for the SOS from the bird and then stick the card into the cam of the bird with the latest FW file 1.09.0200.bin. The bird will send the required data and to the RC and shut down the noises if connected to the RC.
This is an AIO firmware(bird RC and batteries.

So since I have not used this program, but will look into it.

For clarification, I'm assuming the RC is issuing out usable IP address, the RC will always be 192.168.1.1.
The next connection will be 192.168.1.2 If it is the laptop or the Phantom?
Or is the Phantom always going to be at *.*.1.2?

This statement will be very confusing to a lot of people, that don't understand IP addressing.

Next question, what IP address would your mobile device be at?
Can it be connected also?

I certainly hope that resetting back to your weak password solves your problem. I think most of us here that have a P3S, have had a problem, linking to the app, at one time or another. It’s kind of like throwing darts at it, but most times the solution is found here by someone throwing the right dart. Good luck.
