Phantom 2 vision flying erratic

hi all
i wonder if anyone with a phantom 2 can help please
i bought this P2 i have charged the battery and the rc
i have done an imu calibration and a compass calibration also calibrated the remote
when the P2 is in GPS mode it tends to be very erratic when hovering for example
i hear the motors change in speed at times and the drone glitches/wobbles around
sometimes the drone looses hight the gains hight without any input on the throttle sticki have used new props of my phantom 3 advanced
i wonder if the firmware needs to be reloaded back into the P2 and if so were do i get the firmware
and how is it install back into the P2, as i have no experience on the phantom 2the remote is the upgraded one with the gimbal wheel on the left top of the remote
only the phantom 3 advenced drone firmwarethe p2 assist software shows this

Hello Fender37,
Ok,
First use P2 props ( they have a lower angle pitch than the p3 props )
( model 9443 ) NOT ( 9450, they are for the upgraded motors ) and will bog down yours!
( official DJI PROPS ) don't waste your time on cheap aftermarket ones, they suck! And performance WILL SUFFER!

Ok
FIRST

Hook ( radio ) Tx, to RC ASSISTANT ( not PC ASSISTANT ), run a FULL calibration
Both sticks
Both toggles
Dial wheel
( this will set your Tx back to factory set defaults. )

Ok
Next
Hook phantom to PC ASSISTANT
Under BASIC tab, then RC tab, calibrate your Tx again here
Both sticks
Both toggles ( depending on mode ) or just S1
And Dial wheel ( X1 )
( this will calibrate your Tx to the bird, so they are a team and work together, with all settings zeroed out! )

Advanced IMU calibration
( Make sure bird is level ALL directions , and STABLE, no wobbling etc. )
Preferably WOODEN table with minimal to no metal. Just works the best

Then
Outside for fresh compass calibration
( open field, away from power lines, underground utilities, etc. drive down the road if need be to get a good one! )

If all went well
She should fly like a bird!

If not, you might have a compass, or GPS problem!

( also if you have a TEMP gun, after you try to fly, test the motor heat ratings, if one is extremely hot, might have a bad bearing, in that motor. ) probably unlikely, but worth a look!

i thought the motors on the later phantom 2 were the upgraded motors
i will try the one's you have metioned

You might be right?
I've not messed with newer version ones?
Does your startup beeps have the last 4 beeps, or no?

Either

Deedle-Deedle-Deedle-Dee ( V2.1 esc with upgraded 2312 motors )
Or
Deedle-Deedle-Deedle-Dee-beep-beep-beep-beep ( V2.0 esc with 2212 motors )

V2.1 esc have a sticker on them saying V2.1
Motors might also be labeled?

it does a normal start up Deedle-Deedle-Deedle-Dee ( V2.1 esc with upgraded 2312 motors ) ..no 4 beeps at the end of this
then leds go red yellow green then as warm up leds yellow flashing then the green
quick flashes to lock home point etc then a single green flashing led safe to fly mode
i have re done the software up grade to the drone and rc
but still no luck i am wondering if the latest upgrade software is causing the problem
is there any way to put the last version of software onto the drone
and were can i get the last version and how do i get it into the phantom>
