P3A camera issues after repair (possibly flex cable related)

Hi everyone,
I recently received some parts to repair my P3A which i crashed back in August. I managed to repair the gimbal, however the camera doesn't properly work now. Most of the time i get a black image and a few minutes later a very scrambled image (ignore the low signal strength in the screenshot, it most probably had to do with the metal table the drone was on as it never happened again) which significantly improves (but definitely doesn't become perfect) if i switch the capturing mode to "video". I'm suspecting the problem might have to do with the aftermarket single layer flex cable i installed. Is that plausible or is it more likely that another part problematic?

Look for oem DJI logo on the ribbon cable package, as you've discovered the aftermarket rarely work. Anyway, it'll be easier this time around. Good luck
