I managed to fly from the roof of the building with compass error. Is that safe ?

No, it's not.
Did you calibrate the compass up on the building roof?

No, I didn't. I calibrated the compass a few months ago on the beach

My guess is that the re-bar in the building threw off your compass at first and once you cleared the roof, it settled in. I've had this happen before on a portion of my driveway before. It's a bit unsettling. I'd try to recalibrate compass and, perhaps your IMU while you're at it.

The roof of my house Is flat with rebar and it gave me some trouble as well. Once I recalibrated I was ok.
