I've been flying a Phantom 2 for theee years. I'm on my second one. For the first time ever yesterday afternoon, while flying at a spot I've flown many times...my phantom all of a sudden lost contact with the remote. It began blinking yellow, initiating RTH. It flew back to its correct take off spot and began lowering, however it then regained signal with my remote. I didn't have it very far off when this happened and the remote signal was not obstructed by anything. Again, this is the first time it's ever happened.
Any ideas what would cause this?

Put your bird on the DJI Assistant 3.8 and check your battery Cell levels. If you have a large fluctuation in the cells this could be a problem. Also check the batteries in the remote, and make sure they are fully charged.
What was the state of battery % when this happened? I suspect that it's the remote batteries.
