Unable to update the firmware on the RC (model GL300B). It seems as if this model RC can only be updated via the app and the version 2.4.0 is having issues doing this. Many people in the forum’s suggested using the old version of the app, 2.3.0, but I don’t have this ability since I just downloaded 2.4.0 for the first time.
Tried using my ipad mini, ios 9.1, DJI Go 2.4.0, no luck here and same exact results.
Tried to restart both devices, tried to uninstall and reinstall the apps, tried to install older versions of the firmware but the RC doesn’t even recognize the thumbdrive as it will only update via the app.
I’m at a loss for what to do. Has anyone been able to update the firmware on GL300B, using DJI Go v.2.4? Can I update the firmware with anything other than the app?
