is the 4k worth the extra dollors

Unless you really need the 4k video, no. There are no additional benefits of a 4k. Basically, it is a standard with a P3P camera. It would be worth the extra dollars to pick up a P3A or P3P however. And if for nothing else, because of Lightbridge.

It depends on which features you're trying to gain. The P34K has a 4K camera and a much nicer remote controller. I'd personally buy it for the remote controller upgrade alone. If you decide on the P34K, you should get the P3SE instead since the price is the same and the range is much greater (0.74 miles vs. 2.5 miles FCC).

I have the 4K and the standard I agree the remote is so much nicer the 4K also has VPS I fly indoors sometimes and having that VPS is awesome I installed a DBS mod on it and regularly get out to 2+ miles, I could go further I'm sure but at the moment I'm have motor issues due to the prior owner installing incorrect length screws. I love the 4K but Id upgrade to the P3P given the chance if for nothing else the Lightbridge system.
