Ken ... can I ask why you need 5S on a setup that a 3S - 4S is indicated (the 5.8Ghz unit) ... The voltage input is stated as 12 - 15V as I see in the pictures.
What I find interesting is the seller does not restrict the antenna as I see on most to 7dbi ...
The 2.4Ghz is same unit as I have coming ... auto switching Tx / Rx on 2W ... and up to 5.5V
My plan is to have :
2.4G Extend Range Signal Booster Amplifier Device For DJI Phantom Vision FPV NEW | eBay
Mini 5.8G Signal Booster amp for DJI Phantom RC Quadcopters Flight Models HOT JS | eBay
Life 2S battery with 2.4 unit fed by Sbec and 5.8 unit direct. I also have plenty spare 3S LiPo's that are at end of life for high demand flight use that can be used without problem. I am hoping that I can slot the LiXX inside the RC case.
I have a 14dbi panel 5.8 antenna coming but I have been warned about its use with the 5.8 booster.
Will be interesting once I get all fitted out and see what difference I have to yours ... reasonably similar kit .... and of course with Argtec antenna setup.

The 5S battery... Well it was just that is was concerned about battery life.. It as Test there^^ was running 5V and 12V out from the BEC... Not knowing for sure what all Ah draw was.. I optioned for the cheapest highest Volt (5S) battery that would work, with My "Dual Output" Bec.. So I found that one.. "Short, not to fat, Cheap!" seemed to fit the bill.. The Bec was also overkill.. I did not now what I was going to end up with.. So a Mutli-Volt Dual output, Fit that bill.. It was all cheap.. But it was also designed as a test bed.. Plug and Play
Any antenna, any Amp, Any volt need was meet this way.. With the other 5.8 amp pictured.. (no fan) All amps are 5v then... So with a 4amp 5v bec any 2S battery would run them..
