And what might ALL those laws be? You must've only seen 1 law lol and yes completely normal. There's content creators out there making tons of money a year flying drones around like this for videos. But enlighten me on "every law you've seen"

Yes one law...........you flew over people and you flew over an extremely busy French Quarter, I don't know if its normal or not. I just look at the FAA regulations....specifically prohibit flying over people, I live here and when I saw that shot flying over Harrah's Casino.....I know that area very well. You also have a Youtube with you catching the drone, and you now officially here on this site. So, just curious normal that folks are doing this?

Your lucky a state trooper didn't nail you.......I've seen it happen here. If they had spotted that drone over Jackson Square you are getting locked up....

Jackson Square was not busy this morning and I actually ran into a state trooper patrolling the square and he politely asked me to take it down. No jail time here. Sorry

Dude you flew over the top of Harrah's Casino on Canal Street that's the a busy intersection in the central business district..... then you say you were visiting last week and now you say you're here again that's pretty convenient..... sounds to me like they actually stopped you from shooting at Jackson Square last week, where early in the morning there really are no people.

Did you have to get permission to fly the city? I moved away from Chicago due to employment transfer but I remember how aggressive that city was about my flying. Columbus on the other hand hasn't bothered me. Great video but I wish there were more Ariel.

Great video, and even better editing skills. I did question whether the airspace was permissible to fly in (I used to DJ a bar at 735 Bourbon, so I'm familiar), and AirMap shows it as A381 Special Use Airspace.

The visual are excellent.
Its not an airspace issue, its a flying over people.
Its ten thousand bucks if the FAA wants it......its a lock.

Awesome vid. Curious as to what editing program you're using and what craft you're flying. I could def see this as a promo for the city tourism association.
