Controller Questions

I am curious about a couple functions on the P3S controller...

1. What should the S2 switch be set at during flight? The User Manual specifically says how S1 controls flight modes for its three static positions. But the only mentions of S2 refer to "toggling up & down" to activate/deactivate various functions. When statically set, it never says what positions 1, 2, and 3 do for S2.
2. I noticed the throttle stick (left) can be pulled all the way down (6 o'clock) and locked into a detent. What is this detent for? The User Manual makes no mention.

I fly with the s2 switch in the upper position. Throttle lock kills the motors when bird has landed. I also use the lock when I hand catch

I know what the switches stand for I’m just wondering where to put them for a nice easy flight no problems and still get great footage thx

I keeps the stick in the full down position so you don't have to hold it there.
