Can I add GPS to my ipad ?

Can I use the gps from phone to add it to ipad for follow me mode to work?

Devices like the Dual XGPS160 and Dual XGPS150A will add GPS to Apple devices. Some people have said tethering works, so it wouldn't hurt to give that a try before you go out and buy a GPS receiver.

Do you mean internet connectivity (via a SIM card), if so you shouldn't need this for follow me.

It probably doesn't matter though as the GPS in the iPads/phones doesn't seem to be accurate enough/have a quick enough refresh rate to work properly with follow me. Something like the external module msinger linked to (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...Code=as2&tag=ph079-20&linkId=5EBRVSOFZEBJRGHN) should be much better.
